Page 2 of 4 i'm not calling them racist. i'm calling them shady. like i said, i don't blame the white girl either. it's prolly hard for her to be thrown in there like that with the tension and the press. but! if the white girl was a better fit, they CERTAINLY knew it at LEAST a week before the concert. maybe... or maybe they didn't have the nuts to tell briggs that they thought the white girl was a better musical fit, and it had nothing to do with race.... I understand that at the end of the day, that the white girl has a job, and the black girl is out... but the director's imcompitence doesn't mean they're racist- again... if what was written in the articles were true This is a fascinating conversation. I think that if the white girl could do a better job, she would've been in there for the rehearsals and not pulled in the night before. They hired this black chick. They should stick with the hired chick. But then again, THEY didn't hire her. Old management did. |
